Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will finally be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X tomorrow. We were sent our PC copies a week ago but the console codes only arrived yesterday. Usually, it does not bode well when this happens, but from what we have been able to see, the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also look phenomenal in Quality mode. Usually, it does not bode well when this happens, but from what we have been able to see, the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions also look phenomenal in Quality mode. The image is not as sharp as on PC mind you, but the level of detail remains impressive. We can't say the Performance mode has won us over though. On the one hand, image quality takes quite a hit and on the other, framerate isn't always steady, especially in combat sequences. Some tearing can also be noticed. A VRR display should allow you to get rid of some of those issues, but not all of them.
